I am a fine art photographer living in the Pacific Northwest.
My passion is to capture unique works of art the "old school way" - using natural lighting, reflections, water/fog/snow, old/distressed glass etc.- as opposed to drastically altering images in photoshop. My goal is to only alter images in a way that could easily be done with film in a darkroom.
The two main cameras I use are a Canon 5D Mark II as well as a custom converted Canon infrared camera (I don't use infrared filters). Some of my photos have also been taken with a myriad of small cheap handheld cameras as well.
I also enjoy working with select bands and have had the pleasure of working with artists such as Agalloch, Mathias Grassow/John Haughm, Sculptured and Vindensång to name a few. Live concert photography is another area I like to play around in and I have photographed multiple bands including Agalloch, Ludicra, Alcest, Sun O))), Amorphis, Samael, Vindensång, Virgin Black, Hennes Siste Høst and may others.
